As the old saying goes, when it rains, it pours. So of course when I'm taking time to sort out something for images on my site, my laptop should decide to stop cooperating with me. And after weeks of (very) sporatic troubleshooting attempts, I have to resort to an old-fashioned fresh install.
Problem is, my Distro of choice, CrunchBang, has ceased to be actively developped. I've beenprocrastinating on finding a new Distro because it took me SO long to find CrucnchBang, and it's PERFECT, I just don't want to give it up. Sure, I could just go ahead and re-use my existing ISO file and fresh install CrunchBang, it isn't being developped anymore, so support, new features, bugfixes, and the like will only cause other problems in the future. So I need to find something new. Now.
I think I will take the opportunity of looking for a new Distro and write up another article... Maybe you'll see something new in the next couple of weeks or so.
Sadly, this means yet more delays in sorting out images, but hey, that's life ain't it?
